Jimena Croceri

The works presented are part of an ongoing series in which the artist collaborates directly with water, acknowledging its expressive capacity and granting it a decisive role in the construction of the image. Created in diverse environments such as rivers, lagoons, the sea, or the artist’s own studio, the pieces register rhythms, undulations, and drifts generated by ever-changing flows such as currents, weather conditions, and the passage of time. Each work emerges from this interaction, where water ceases to be a mere resource and asserts itself as an active presence—a companion that connects and traverses both human and non-human bodies.

Works from this series are currently on view at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, the Centro Cultural Recoleta, and in the permanent collection of the Harvard Art Museums.
